Waterfront dining with a focus on local and sustainable produce and seafood. The straightforward menu opts for a fresh, simple approach to fish, with complimentary flavourings.

We have brought on board a carefully selected handful of local producers, in order to ensure that we make the most of Pembrokeshire’s finest resources.

Mark catch - bringing the fresh fish to the Griffin Inn pubIn 2014 we bought a fishing boat with Mark, the local fisherman, called the Griffin Girl. He fishes in the bay the pub overlooks and catches a variety of fresh fish from mackerel to doversole.  Mark also has over 100 lobster pots in the bay so bring in the freshest lobster you will ever taste!

You may be lucky enough to be there as Mark lands the fish on the pontoon outside the Griffin…

You can’t get much fresher than that!

 

 

 

 

We also use Dash Shellfish at Little Haven (six miles away from us) who supply us with their award winning locally caught fresh crab & lobster.

Our lamb comes from a farm in Dale, we use this to make our delicious welsh lamb cawl. We also use a local butcher in Haverfordwest for all our other meat, which come from farms within Pembrokeshire.

We have a daily delivery of freshly baked bread from the Welsh Bakery.
